Full course description

This is a guided tour taking place on May 24th from 2-5pm EST.

The New York Design Center has become the go-to source for today's working professionals. Located in midtown Manhattan at 200 Lexington Avenue, it is the country's oldest furniture and design building filled with a dynamic assortment of residential and contract sources. Today with nearly 100 showrooms, the NYDC offers designers and architects an almost one-stop shopping experience, visits include Aero, Dennis Miller, Lorin Marsh, Circa Lighting and Kravet.

Come explore the variety and excitement of 200 Lex (as the building is known in the trade) with Judy Sheridan, ASID, CID, the distinguished Interior Designer and author, as she fills you in on the ins and outs of professional shopping and how to be good at it. Topics covered include when and when not to shop with a client, showroom pricing, sources for inspiration and special insider tours. Students meet in the NYDC main lobby at the concierge desk, 15 minutes before the course is scheduled to begin.

Design centers and showrooms may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination and masks for entry.
