Full course description
On-site course meets Monday evenings from 6-9pm ET for seven weeks.
This course is specifically designed for those who have a working knowledge of basic AutoCAD 2D drafting using the Microsoft operating system. Build on the fundamentals of AutoCAD through hands-on exercises that explore the creation of 2D construction drawings using more advanced drawing production and management commands such as edit, annotate, block, layer, style, properties, and hatch. Work with drawing collaboration techniques such as publishing and plotting. Students are encouraged to bring a flash drive for saving their work throughout the course. As a prerequisite, working knowledge of the basics of 2D Drafting with AutoCAD or have completed CE410.
How do I attend an on-site course?
Structure: Students will receive an email with instructions on how to access the NYSID East 70th Street campus. Students will meet in a classroom with fellow students and an instructor on the specific dates and times listed in the course description. In some courses, projects and visual presentations may be required. Students will have access to campus facilities for a specific duration during their course enrollment.
